A shower hose allows you to pick up the shower head off of it's holder, and allows you to maneuver it wherever you'd like, making it much more easier for you to reach and spray hard to reach places like your back. Usually they also include many different spray levels and nozzles that you can switch to on one shower head.

It is s simple as a switch of a tab on the shower head. there are nozzles such as jet spray, light sprinkle, and massage spray. Of course regular stream is available too.
